
Pakistan Army’s relief and rescue operations are continuing in District Ghizer, Gilgit-Baltistan.
In response to the recent glacier burst in Ghizer, which triggered severe flooding and caused significant hardship for the local population, the Pakistan Army has launched comprehensive relief and rescue efforts.
Acting on the special instructions of the Chief of Army Staff, the Force Command Northern Areas (FCNA) swiftly initiated emergency operations and established medical camps in the affected areas.
So far, over 600 patients have received medical assistance at these camps. Additionally, rations and tents have been distributed among flood-affected families.
Pakistan Army personnel are not only delivering immediate relief but are also working tirelessly for the complete rehabilitation of the victims.
Locals have expressed heartfelt gratitude for the Army’s timely and effective support.
