Namaz-e-Janaza of twelve Shuhada who embraced Shahadat while defending the motherland against unprovoked and cowardly aggression of Afghan Regime, was offered in Chaklala Garrison Rawalpindi, today.
Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Federal Ministers, Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, civil and military officers and public attended the funeral.
Speaking on the occasion, Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said the people of Pakistan are indebted to the ultimate sacrifice of these heroes.
He said these brave sons of soil laid down their lives while defending the territorial integrity of the country against the cowardly and treacherous aggression of Taliban Regime and Indian sponsored terrorist proxies operating from Afghan soil.
The Defence Minister said armed forces of Pakistan, with full support of the nation, remain resolute to thwart any aggression and conspiracy against the country.
