Central Development Working Party has approved twelve projects worth over thirty five billion rupees aimed at national development in different sectors.

The meeting of CDWP was held in Islamabad with Minister for Planning and Development Ahasn Iqbal in the chair.

It was decided to recommend six developmentr projects of over two hundred eighty billion rupees for approval of Executive Committee of National Economic Council.

Addressing the meeting, Ahsan Iqbal said development strategy of Pakistan revolves around 5Es framework and Uraan Pakistan Program which include energy and infrastructure besiedes environment, and export-led growth.

He said these principles will put the country on competitive and integrated growth trajectory.

The Committee approved projects related to use of technology in agriculture sector and environment resilience keeping in view pivotal role of agriculture.
