Mangla, Pakistan — The Inter-Unit Basketball Championship 2025 concluded in Mangla with an exciting display of athleticism, teamwork, and competitive spirit. The tournament, played on a single-league basis, featured six strong teams representing Faisalabad, Mangla, Gujranwala, Lahore, NTDC, and Multan.

The Faisalabad team emerged as the champions, delivering consistent and outstanding performances throughout the event. Their disciplined gameplay and sharp coordination secured them the top position on the leaderboard.

The Mangla Hydel team claimed the second position, defeating the defending champions Gujranwala by 68–52 in the decisive match for the runner-up spot. Kaleem Khan from Mangla stood out with an exceptional performance, earning the title of Best Player of the Championship along with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000.

The closing ceremony was graced by GM Sports Imdad Memon as the chief guest. Chief Engineer Mangla Tariq, DG Sports Farooq, Area Power Naveed, and Faisalabad Sports Officer were also present to distribute prizes and congratulate the winning teams.

The championship highlighted the growing passion for basketball across the power sector units and showcased the talent and teamwork of players representing their respective regions.
