In Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has strongly denounced the raids on the houses of Hurriyat leaders and activists by Indian forces’ personnel in every nook and corner of the territory.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC spokesman said India has declared a war on Kashmiris, who are killed day in and day out at the hands of brutal occupation forces.

He urged the United Nations Security Council, Human Rights Council and other international organizations to impress upon India to immediately cease the crackdown operations and release all Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders and activists languishing in Indian jails.

Yesterday, Indian troops raided the residences of Kashmiri women leaders, Yasmeen Raja and Zamruda Habib, in Srinagar and vandalized the household goods.

Meanwhile, two Kashmiri youth were arrested during a cordon and search operation jointly carried out by Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force and police in Kunzer area of Baramulla district, today.

The Chairman of World Forum for Peace and Justice, Dr Ghulam Nabi Fai, in a statement on the eve of International Women’s Day being observed tomorrow, has called for implementation of the Platform of Action adopted by the UN’s Fourth World Conference on Women to rehabilitate the women and children of conflict-hit Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

He warned that the ignoring of the Kashmir dispute being the key cause of conflict in the region will not serve long-term interests of world major powers including the US.
