A report cites Indian intransigence as the main hurdle in the way of peaceful settlement of the long-pending Kashmir dispute.

The report released by Kashmir Media Service on Sunday said the Kashmiris’ struggle for securing their right to self-determination will continue till the implementation of the United Nations resolutions.

It maintained that India could not change the disputed nature of Kashmir by illegal and unilateral actions like that of 5th August 2019 and the Kashmiris’ cry for right to self-determination couldn’t be silenced through such actions.

The report added that Modi’s 5th August 2019 actions are aimed at snatching the Kashmiris’ unique identity and culture.

It impressed upon the UN to fulfill its responsibilities regarding Kashmiris’ right to self-determination and India must be pressured to implement resolutions of the World Body on Kashmir.
