The Federal Government has removed Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar from his post.
In a tweet, Minister for Information and Law Chaudhry Fawad Hussain said the new Governor will be announced later.
He said according to the constitution, the Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly would be the Acting Governor.
