Two Pakistani soldiers were martyred in a terrorist attack in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
A statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR) said that “terrorists opened fire on a military post in the urban area of Mir Ali in North Waziristan District”.
The statement said that “the soldiers responded immediately and effectively kept the terrorists at the spot.”
“During the exchange of fire, Zahoor Khan, a 20-year-old soldier from Lower Dir and Rahim Gul Bahadur, a 23-year-old soldier from Abbottabad fought and were martyred,” the ISPR said.
“Clearance operations are underway in the area,” the statement said.
