The Engineering Development Board has finalized a document on solar panels and allied equipment manufacturing which will be submitted to the government for approval.
The policy document has been prepared to promote the use of alternate energy resources to overcome power shortage in the country.
The policy is expected to be approved as the National Solar Energy Policy being prepared by the Ministry of Power and the Renewable Energy Task Force.
