Pakistan has stressed on trade, investment and technical partnership to boost South-South cooperation.

Speaking in a video message to an event in Bangkok, commemorating the UN Day for South-South Cooperation, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Munir Akram said importance of South-South cooperation is now more evident than ever.

He underscored three important priority areas for the cooperation, including trade, investments in sustainable infrastructure, and technical cooperation in science and technology.

South-South cooperation is unity among people and countries of the developing world, known as the Global South, which contributes to national well-being, collective self-reliance and achieving the global goals.
