Minister for Climate Change Sherry Rehman says the government is committed to implement electric vehicles policy in consultation with all stakeholders.
She was chairing a meeting alongside Minister for Industries and Production Syed Murtaza Mahmood in Islamabad on Wednesday, to review progress on the policy.
Sherry Rehman said rickshaw and motorcycle users will be benefited on priority basis through this policy and registration, charging stations and other loopholes will be eliminated.
She said concerns of private partners will be addressed while implementing the policy.
She said Ministry of Climate Change is coordinating with other relevant government departments for amendments in the Electric Vehicle Policy.
