Pakistan Navy Ship SHAHJAHAN visited Port Langkawi, Malaysia and participated in Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition-LIMA 23.

The visit was aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and enhancing interoperability between participating navies.     

The ship participated in International Fleet Review and sea exercises along with warships from Brunei, China, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Thailand, the United States and other navies.

On the sidelines of the exercise, the Ship’s officers and crew participated in various conferences and sessions on Maritime Interdiction Operations.

During meetings with Malaysian officials, Commanding Officer of the ship conveyed wishes from Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi for the people of Malaysia and Malaysian Navy in particular.

Matters of mutual interest, bilateral collaboration and contribution of Pakistan Navy towards regional peace and maritime security were discussed during these meetings.

The Visit of PNS SHAHJAHAN to Malaysia contributed significantly towards strengthening bilateral associations and existing bonds of friendship with Malaysia as well as promoting naval collaboration with other maritime nations.
