Kashmiris to observe October 27 as Black Day

Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and across the world will observe Friday as Black Day to convey a strong message to the world that they reject illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir by India.

Call for observing the day has been given by the All Parties Hurriyat Conference.

In a statement in Srinagar the APHC called upon the international community to wake up from deep slumber and take practical steps to hold a plebiscite in Jammu and Kashmir as per the UN Security Council resolutions to enable the Kashmiris exercise their right to self-determination.
