APHC denounces surge in Indian state terrorism in IIOJK

All Parties Hurriyat Conference has urged the United Nations to take cognizance of critical situation prevailing in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir and initiate measures for settlement of dispute as per the UN resolutions.

In a statement in Srinagar, APHC spokesman denounced surge in Indian state terrorism in occupied Jammu and Kashmir saying Kashmir issue needs to be resolved by giving Kashmiris their right to self-determination.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti while addressing a party event in Srinagar deplored that the Kashmiri society was being humiliated by the BJP-installed administration on a daily basis.

She stressed urgent need for collective action against increasing onslaught on rights and dignity of people of occupied territory.

On the other hand, today, the 6th December, marks the completion of 31 years to the demolition of historic Babri Masjid in India by extremist Hindus backed by state apparatus.

The 16th century Babri Masjid in Ayodhya city of the Uttar Pradesh state was reduced to rubble by a BJP-RSS led Hindu mob on this day in 1992.
