
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said education, health and employment are the basic rights of women.
In a statement in Lahore on Saturday, she said that eradication of poverty in rural and urban areas was a key commitment of her government.
She said that equal economic opportunities were being provided in both cities and villages.
Meanwhile, the Punjab government has announced to provide buffaloes and cows of two billion rupees to eleven thousand rural women in twelve districts of South Punjab.
