New Zealand claimed a dominant 6-2 victory over Pakistan in the final of the FIH Nations Cup, retaining their title in a one-sided contest held in Kuala Lumpur.

From the very beginning, New Zealand applied relentless pressure on Pakistan. Although their first two goals were disallowed early in the game, the Kiwis opened the scoring in the sixth minute and never looked back.

The Black Sticks scored two goals in the first quarter, three in the second, and capped off their tally with a final goal in the fourth quarter. Pakistan managed to find the net once in the third quarter and again in the fourth, but it was not enough to stage a comeback.

New Zealand’s Nick Woods was named Player of the Match for his standout performance. With this win, New Zealand successfully defended their Nations Cup title, showcasing their dominance in the tournament.
