U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the United States has carried out successful strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities. The announcement was made via a post on his social media platform, Truth Social.
In the statement, Trump confirmed that American forces targeted Iran’s key nuclear sites in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. He claimed that the strike on the Fordow facility resulted in its complete destruction.
“We have successfully struck three nuclear sites in Iran,” Trump wrote. “Fordow has been entirely destroyed, and our aircraft have returned safely, without entering Iranian airspace during the operation.”
The strike marks a major escalation in regional tensions and comes amid heightened conflict following Israeli military actions and increasing hostilities in the Middle East.
