District Police Officer Bhakkar, Shahzad Rafiq Awan, attended the funeral prayer of Pakistan Army soldier Muhammad Qadeer Bhatti, who embraced martyrdom at the Afghanistan border.
The funeral prayer was offered at Syed Wala Dagar Shada, within the jurisdiction of Police Station Sarai Mohajir. A large number of local residents, community elders, district administration officials, political figures, and officers of security institutions participated in the ceremony.
The DPO Bhakkar laid a floral wreath on the martyr’s coffin and paid tribute to his sacrifice. He later met with the bereaved family, expressed his heartfelt condolences, and prayed for the elevation of the martyr’s ranks in the hereafter.
On this occasion, he stated that the martyrs who sacrifice their lives for the beloved homeland are the pride of the entire nation, and their sacrifices will always be remembered.
