District Police Officer Khushab, Dr. Ammara Sherazi, paid a special visit to the Smart City Khushab project. On this occasion, Incharge CRO Branch, Incharge IT, Incharge AVLS, as well as SHOs of City and Sadar police stations were also present.
During the visit, the Manager and Assistant Manager of Smart City briefed the DPO on the overall functioning of the system. The briefing included detailed information regarding VWPS, VCCS, and the “Meri Pehchan” programmes.
Officials also highlighted the live monitoring of cameras across District Khushab, the functioning of panic buttons, and FR cameras. In addition, a detailed briefing was given on the Chief Minister’s Free Wi-Fi programme and the facilities being provided to citizens.
DPO Dr. Ammara Sherazi appreciated the use of modern technology and issued instructions to further enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the system to ensure improved public service delivery and security for citizens.
