
Pakistan’s well-known poet Ali Haider has achieved a distinctive international honor, as he has been awarded honorary membership by the international literary organization Sharif Academy Germany in recognition of his scholarly and literary services. Literary, social, educational, and journalistic circles have extended their congratulations and best wishes on this achievement.
The international literary organization Sharif Academy Germany acknowledged Ali Haider’s contributions to literature at a global level and conferred upon him honorary membership during a ceremony held in France.
It is noteworthy that Sharif Academy Germany is a global organization actively working to promote knowledge, literature, and social services worldwide. According to a certificate issued by the academy’s Board of Directors and Chief Executive Shafiq Murad, Ali Haider has been declared a “valuable member” of the academy in appreciation of his contributions.
This membership has been awarded in recognition of Ali Haider’s continuous literary work in Urdu and Punjabi literature, particularly his strong command over prosody (Ilm-e-Arooz) and poetic meter.
Expressing his gratitude, Ali Haider thanked the academy’s administration and termed this honor as a recognition for Pakistan.
He stated:
“Becoming part of a global organization like Sharif Academy is a matter of great honour for me. My aim has always been to promote positive values through literature, and this membership will serve as an important milestone in this journey.”
It is also worth mentioning that Ali Haider is currently engaged in compiling and editing his poetry collection, and it is expected that this international collaboration will further enhance the global recognition of his work.
