Deputy Commissioner Reviews Ongoing Development Projects Under Punjab Development Program

The Deputy Commissioner of Khushab conducted a detailed review of the ongoing development projects being executed under the Punjab Development Program.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner was briefed on the progress of the projects by MD WASA Imran Ali Bajwa, Assistant Director Punjab Development Program Qasim Lali, and MOF FMC Joharabad Mehran Ali.

It was informed that a comprehensive sewerage system is being laid in Joharabad, including areas such as Post Office Chowk, Library Chowk, and Southern Bazaar. This project has been initiated under the Punjab Development Program.

The Deputy Commissioner directed that all ongoing projects must be completed within the stipulated timeframe. He stated that, for the first time in the history of Khushab and Joharabad, large-scale beautification plans, sewerage systems, and disposal facilities are being developed.

In line with the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, strict implementation of measures related to drainage, sewerage, manholes, and sanitation must be ensured. Providing citizens with a clean system and a healthy environment remains a top priority of the Punjab government and the district administration.

On this occasion, MD WASA Imran Ali, Assistant Director Punjab Development Program Qasim Lali, Allah Bakhsh from the Public Health Department Khushab, Sub-Engineer Muhammad Rizwan, Zahid Khan, and officials from other departments were also present.
