An important meeting on anti-road accidents was held at the District Police Office (DPO) Khushab under the chairmanship of District Police Officer Khushab, Dr. Amara Shirazi. The meeting was attended by DSP Patrol Khushab District Haider Ali Tipu, DSP Traffic Khushab District Syed Qamar Shah, and other police officers.
On this occasion, DPO Khushab Dr. Amara Shirazi stated that the increasing number of traffic accidents in the district is a highly alarming situation that requires immediate and effective measures. She directed that the traffic police and patrol police should jointly formulate a comprehensive strategy to significantly reduce road accidents.
She further instructed that strict legal action should be taken against speeding motorcyclists, overspeeding vehicles, and overloading violations to ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property.
The DPO also directed that on the road stretch from Sindharal Chowk to Sabzi Mandi, strict action should be taken not only against drivers of vehicles illegally parked in front of workshops but also against workshop owners who allow or facilitate such illegal parking in front of their premises.
