Secretary Information of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Central Punjab, Shahzad Saeed Cheema, has said that PPP is not a drawing-room party but a national asset that will always remain strong and enduring. He stated that due to the successful foreign policy of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Pakistan’s global stature has significantly improved.
He expressed these views while addressing the closing session of a Social Media Tools Workshop organized by the PPP Information Bureau in Khushab. The event was hosted by PPP District President Khushab, Malik Ali Saoul Awan. Shahzad Saeed Cheema emphasized in his speech that political engagement is not possible without hard work, consistency, and commitment.
The workshop was attended by Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of Information from 7 divisions and 26 districts of Central Punjab. Various sessions provided detailed briefings on the effective use of social media platforms—including X (Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp—as well as narrative building and the role of print media.
During the event, prayers were also offered for the departed soul of the sister of PPP Sargodha Divisional President, Tasneem Qureshi.
Host Malik Ali Saoul Awan thanked the participants and said that the dedication and commitment of party workers are commendable. Other speakers termed social media as the most important front in the modern era and stressed the importance of effective narrative building, rapid response, and quality content creation.
The ceremony was also addressed by former Member of the National Assembly and PPP leader Ms. Javeria Zafar Aheer, Abdul Razzaq Saleemi, Ahmed Rehman Ghuman, Usman Farooq Satti, Umama Iftikhar, Zainab Qureshi, Rai Rashid, Sohaib Mushtaq Awan, Sheikh Kamran, Rashid Chaudhry, Basit Rajjar, Akbar Bhatti, and others.
At the conclusion, representatives from Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, and Gujranwala divisions expressed their commitment to organizing similar workshops in the future.
