President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have reaffirmed government’s commitment to address humanitarian challenges and support vulnerable communities.
In their separate messages on World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day being observed today, they paid tribute to volunteers, staff and partners of Pakistan Red Crescent Society for their dedicated humanitarian services.
President Asif Ali Zardari said the occasion serves as a reminder of vital role humanitarian workers play in strengthening health systems, responding to emergencies and assisting those most in need.
He urged all stakeholders to renew their commitment to humanity, solidarity and public service for a safer, healthier and more inclusive Pakistan.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised Pakistan Red Crescent Society for its contributions in disaster relief, blood supply, healthcare and community outreach.
He said the government values the organization’s services and remains committed to further strengthening cooperation with it in the future.
