Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhary has assured full institutional support to parliamentary committees working on issues related to crimes against women.
Speaking in the Senate today, he said the government will provide all necessary assistance whenever a committee seeks input from any minister or government department.
He said efforts to strengthen the justice system would continue to receive full support from the government.
Earlier, the House passed “The Iqbal Academy (Amendment) Bill, 2026”.
Six other bills were also introduced in the House.
The Chair referred the introduced bills to the concerned standing committees.
The House has now been adjourned to meet again on Monday evening.
