Another talented daughter of Sargodha Division has brought pride to the region as Amber Kainat has become part of Pakistan’s National Women’s Cricket Team. Hailing from the village of Shadia in District Mianwali, Amber Kainat’s inclusion in the national squad and her participation against the Zimbabwe Women’s Cricket Team is being regarded as a great honor for the entire Sargodha Division.
Amber Kainat was born into the family of school teacher Malik Ghulam Rasool. From an early age, she developed a passion for cricket and started playing alongside her brother. Her father and brother always provided full support and encouragement in both academic and extracurricular activities.
During her school and college years, Amber Kainat actively participated in athletics and various sports competitions. She completed her matriculation from Government Girls High School in her native village and later joined Pakistan Air Force College Mianwali, where she completed her F.Sc.
Due to her outstanding sports abilities, she secured admission to the University of Sargodha, where she completed her BS in Chemistry while continuing to focus seriously on cricket. Later, in pursuit of better opportunities and professional growth in cricket, she shifted to Lahore.
Through hard work, dedication, and determination, Amber Kainat has now earned a place in Pakistan’s National Women’s Cricket Team, bringing pride not only to her family but also to Mianwali, Sargodha Division, and the entire country. Her achievement has been widely appreciated by social, educational, literary, and journalistic circles, who have extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for her future success.
