A flag hoisting ceremony was organized at the DC Complex Jauharabad to celebrate the completion of 75 years of Pakistan-China friendship. Additional Deputy Commissioner General Khushab, Ghazala Kanwal, was the chief guest on the occasion.
A smartly turned-out contingent of Punjab Police presented salute to the national flags of Pakistan and China. Additional Deputy Commissioner General Khushab Ghazala Kanwal and Assistant Commissioner Khushab Chaudhry Ziaullah jointly hoisted the national flags of both countries.
Participants at the ceremony raised slogans in support of Pakistan-China friendship, Pakistan Army, and Pakistan Zindabad. Addressing the gathering, the speakers congratulated the people of Pakistan and China on the completion of 75 years of enduring friendship, stating that the bond between the two countries is admired across the world.
They said that the objective of the flag hoisting ceremony was to further strengthen the longstanding friendship and diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China. The speakers remarked that Pakistan-China friendship is higher than the Himalayas and deeper than the oceans. They further stated that the 75 years of diplomatic relations reflect a remarkable chapter of sincere and lasting friendship between the two nations.
The speakers also highlighted that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project is an important economic milestone for the future and a living symbol of everlasting friendship between Pakistan and China.
Among those present at the ceremony were Assistant Commissioner Khushab Chaudhry Ziaullah, Additional Charge CEO Health Dr. Ahmad Khan, MS DHQ Hospital Jauharabad, CEO Education District Khushab Muhammad Isa Lali, Assistant Director Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Mal Malik Azhar Awan, officials from Rescue 1122, Civil Defence, teachers, officers of the Municipal Committee, as well as officers from the DC Office and other departments.
Special prayers were offered at the conclusion of the ceremony for the peace, prosperity, and security of both countries.
