Balochistan government has decided to establish mini and off-grid power stations in remote areas of the province to ensure supply of electricity.
The decision was made during a consultative meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti in Quetta today.
The meeting reviewed various electricity supply and transmission projects.
The Chief Minister said the policy for on-grid power stations would be finalized through mutual consultation to strengthen the province’s electricity transmission system.
