The Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team has departed from Dublin, Ireland, and arrived in Nottingham, England, via Birmingham to participate in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup.
The national side will begin its final preparations for the mega event upon reaching Nottingham. Pakistan is scheduled to play its first warm-up match against Sri Lanka Women on June 6 in Derby.
The team enters the World Cup following a disappointing campaign in the recently concluded Ireland Tri-Series, where it failed to register a single victory. The poor performance has raised concerns among cricket fans and analysts regarding the team’s form and prospects in the upcoming global tournament.
Despite the setback, the World Cup presents a fresh opportunity for Pakistan Women to put past disappointments behind them and showcase their potential on the international stage.
All eyes will now be on the Pakistan squad as it aims to deliver improved performances and make a strong impression in one of the biggest events in women’s cricket.
