In a remarkable display of humanitarian service, Sargodha Police organized a blood donation campaign for children suffering from thalassemia, resulting in the collection of more than 100 blood bags.
According to details, the blood donation camp was arranged in Kot Momin Tehsil on the instructions of District Police Officer Sargodha, Muhammad Sohaib Ashraf, through the special efforts of SP Investigation Imran Abbas Chadhar, and under the supervision of SDPO Kot Momin Nasir Mahmood Pannu. Police officers, local citizens, and media representatives actively participated in the camp and donated blood.
Speaking on the occasion, SP Investigation Imran Abbas Chadhar said that Sargodha Police considers serving humanity as one of its foremost responsibilities alongside protecting the lives and property of citizens. He stated that children suffering from thalassemia deserve special attention, care, and compassion.
He further emphasized that a single drop of donated blood can help save a precious life. The blood collected through such campaigns provides hope and life-saving support to innocent children battling thalassemia. He also urged citizens to participate actively in welfare initiatives so that more patients in need can receive timely assistance.
