Deputy Commissioner Khushab, Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laabar, accompanied by District Police Officer (DPO) Khushab, Dr. Ammara Shirazi, visited the routes of Muharram-ul-Haram processions in Tehsil Noorpur Thal ahead of the holy month to review security arrangements.
According to details, the Deputy Commissioner and the DPO inspected the routes of Category-A and Category-B processions falling under the jurisdictions of Noorpur Police Station and Joura Kalan Police Station. During the visit, they thoroughly reviewed the security measures and received a detailed briefing from the respective Station House Officers (SHOs) and the SDPO Noorpur Circle regarding the procession routes and security plans for Muharram-ul-Haram.
Assistant Commissioner Noorpur Thal, Dr. Haroon Ahmad Shiraz, was also present on the occasion.
Speaking during the visit, DPO Khushab Dr. Ammara Shirazi stated that foolproof security arrangements would be ensured for all Muharram processions without any compromise.
On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner and the DPO also met with procession license holders and organizers of processions and religious gatherings (Majalis), assuring them that comprehensive and effective security measures would be implemented to maintain peace and ensure the safety of participants throughout Muharram-ul-Haram.
