Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad today.

During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, the political situation, and the federal budget were discussed. Both sides also reviewed ongoing development projects initiated by the federal government in Sindh.

The Prime Minister said that effective coordination and mutual cooperation between the federation and the provinces are indispensable for national development.

It was agreed that close cooperation between federal and provincial institutions will continue to ensure the successful completion of projects of national importance and the provision of better facilities to the public.

On the occasion, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid rich tribute to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts towards global peace in the context of the current situation in the Middle East.

He also thanked the Prime Minister for the federal government’s support in the formation of the government in Gilgit-Baltistan.
