Commissioner Sargodha Division, Shaukat Ali, and RPO Sargodha Range, Shahzad Asif Khan, paid a late-night visit to the Safe City Control Room to review security arrangements for Muharram gatherings and mourning processions across the four districts of Sargodha, Khushab, Bhakkar, and Mianwali.
During the visit, they observed real-time monitoring through CCTV cameras and received a detailed briefing from SP Amir Mushtaq, In-charge of the Safe City Control Room. The officials assessed the performance of the monitoring staff, emergency response mechanisms, and the overall surveillance system.
Expressing satisfaction with the arrangements, the Commissioner and RPO directed the staff to remain vigilant and ensure the effective utilization of all available resources for the protection of life and property. They emphasized maintaining strict monitoring and prompt response to any situation to ensure peaceful observance of Muharram across the region.
