Security Forces have killed five Indian-sponsored Khwarij in an intelligence-based operation in the Razmak area of North Waziristan district today.
According to ISPR, the operation was conducted on the reported presence of Khwarij belonging to the Indian proxy, Fitna Al Khwarij.
However, in the intense exchange of fire during the operation, Major Hafiz Ihsan Elahi, a brave officer who was leading his troops from the front, embraced shahadat while fighting gallantly.
Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed Khwarij, who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against the Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies and the killing of innocent civilians.
A sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored Khwarij in the area, as the relentless counterterrorism campaign under the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam continues to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
According to ISPR, such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further reinforce our unwavering commitment to safeguard the country at all costs.
