Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, Engineer Amir Muqam has urged all political parties to ensure a peaceful continuation of the democratic process in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Talking to media in Islamabad, he said political parties should focus on winning the confidence of the people.
He said election results could not be altered through accusations and called on political stakeholders to accept the people’s verdict with maturity.
Amir Muqam said PML-N had accepted the results of Gilgit-Baltistan elections despite political differences and expected other parties to demonstrate the same democratic spirit.
