Assistant Commissioner Noorpur Thal, Shazia Rehman, visited various parts of Noorpur City to inspect the ongoing desilting operation aimed at removing silt and debris from drains and sewerage lines. During the visit, she reviewed the performance of the field staff and directed them to ensure that no silt or mud accumulates anywhere in the city so that the drainage system remains fully functional.
The Assistant Commissioner instructed the staff to complete the cleaning and desilting work with dedication, responsibility, and in accordance with the required standards. She said the desilting campaign is being closely monitored and that all available resources are being utilized to provide better municipal services to the public.
Shazia Rehman further stated that keeping the drainage system fully operational during the monsoon season is the administration’s top priority. She emphasized that no negligence or delay in the cleaning and desilting work would be tolerated. She also directed the concerned authorities to complete the campaign within the stipulated timeframe and ensure that the city remains clean and fully prepared for the efficient drainage of rainwater.
