A monthly crime meeting was held under the chairmanship of District Police Officer (DPO) Khushab Dr. Ammara Shirazi. SDPOs from across the district, DSP Headquarters Khushab, DSP Investigation Khushab, all SHOs, and heads of various branches attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the overall crime situation was reviewed, with particular focus on curbing crime, recovery in property-related cases, and the conviction rate. DPO Dr. Ammara Shirazi directed the police officers to intensify the crackdown against organized and active criminal gangs, proclaimed offenders, and drug dealers.
She stressed that timely registration of FIRs and impartial, merit-based investigations must be ensured in all cases. Dr. Shirazi further directed that all cases under investigation should be concluded strictly on merit and challans submitted to the courts without delay.
The DPO said that the effective resolution of citizens’ complaints at the police-station level was a top priority and must be ensured. She also instructed all SHOs to treat every citizen visiting a police station with courtesy and respect and to resolve their problems promptly.
