In line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to expedite the process of justice, District Police Officer (DPO) Khushab Dr. Ammara Shirazi held an open court in the jurisdiction of Nowshera Police Station.
During the open court, DPO Khushab Dr. Ammara Shirazi listened to the problems and complaints of citizens and issued necessary directions to the concerned police officers for their prompt resolution. DSP Headquarters Khushab, SHO Nowshera and other police officers were also present on the occasion.
A large number of local notables and citizens attended the open court and presented their issues before the DPO. Dr. Ammara Shirazi said that Khushab Police was taking all possible measures to resolve public complaints and address issues related to the police.
She said that the purpose of holding open courts at police stations was to ensure that citizens did not have to visit police offices to get their problems resolved. Instead, police officers would go to the people’s doorstep, listen to their grievances and ensure the provision of prompt justice.
The DPO directed the concerned police officers to take immediate action on citizens’ complaints and ensure justice strictly in accordance with merit and the law.
