Hurriyat parties and leaders have urged the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir to observe India’s Independence Day as a Black Day on Saturday.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the parties and leaders, in separate statements issued in Srinagar, urged the people of Kashmir to observe India’s Independence Day as a Black Day in protest against India’s forcible occupation of Kashmir.
They said India has deprived Kashmiris of their fundamental rights and snatched their freedom by occupying their motherland.
They said India has occupied Kashmir against the will of the Kashmiri people and therefore has no right to celebrate its Independence Day in occupied Kashmir.
