Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court Justice Alia Neelam paid a one-day special visit to Khushab, where she inaugurated the Judicial Complex in Noshera.

Attorney General for Pakistan Malik Mansoor Usman Awan, District and Sessions Judge Khushab, Deputy Commissioner Khushab Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber, DPO Dr. Ammara Shirazi, President of the Joharabad Bar Association, senior lawyers, judicial officers and other officials attended the inauguration ceremony.

Upon her arrival at the Judicial Complex Noshera, Chief Justice Alia Neelam was presented with a guard of honour. She was also given a detailed briefing about the Judicial Complex, its facilities and administrative arrangements.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Justice Alia Neelam said that the establishment of the Judicial Complex Noshera would provide citizens with access to justice at the local level. She said that residents of Noshera would no longer have to travel to the distant Khushab courts to pursue their cases.

The Chief Justice directed judges to hear and decide cases strictly on merit and without any pressure. She emphasized that timely delivery of justice and maximum relief to citizens must be ensured.

Later, Chief Justice Alia Neelam and judicial officers participated in a tree plantation activity at the Judicial Complex Noshera. Chief Justice Alia Neelam also planted a sapling on the premises, reaffirming the importance of a clean and green environment.
