On the special directives of the Punjab Government, District Police Officer (DPO) Khushab Dr. Ammara Shirazi held an important meeting at the DPO Office in Jauharabad to review security and law-and-order arrangements for Rabi-ul-Awwal.
Members of the District Peace Committee and other relevant representatives attended the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, DPO Khushab Dr. Ammara Shirazi said that Muharram-ul-Haram had concluded peacefully and with great reverence and respect, thanks to the cooperation of the Peace Committee. She expressed hope that the committee members would continue to play their exemplary role during Rabi-ul-Awwal and extend their full cooperation to the police and district administration.
She said that the basic purpose of the Peace Committee was to identify social evils and problems and work jointly with the administration to eliminate them. This collaborative approach would help prevent crime and ensure peace, harmony and brotherhood in society.
Meanwhile, former President of the District Bar Association Khushab, Advocate Malik Tahir Raza Baghour, highly appreciated the measures taken by DPO Khushab Dr. Ammara Shirazi for maintaining law and order in the district. He also assured the police and district administration of his full cooperation in maintaining peace and protecting the public.
