Deputy Commissioner Khushab Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Labar chaired an important meeting to review the performance of the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) at the Conference Hall.
Additional Assistant Commissioner Kaleemullah Khan, Chief Executive Officer Municipal Committee Sundas Rabail, Forest Department Block Officer Najam Shah, PHA In-charge Hasnat Zafar, District Nazir Muhammad Waqas, and officers of the PHA and other concerned departments attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Forest Department Block Officer Najam Shah and PHA officials briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the ongoing activities of the authority. They informed him that temporary employees obtained from various departments were engaged in cleanliness and maintenance activities at parks and green belts along the Jauharabad Main Highway Road. The workers were also carrying out the removal of weeds, shrubs and other unwanted vegetation.
Later, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Labar visited Jahaz Chowk in Jauharabad, the Four-Block Green Belt and various parks. He inspected the cleanliness arrangements and reviewed the ongoing work involving the removal of weeds, shrubs and other vegetation.
The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the performance and hard work of the PHA workers and expressed his satisfaction with the ongoing maintenance activities. He also emphasized the need to maintain cleanliness and ensure the continued beautification of parks and green belts.
