Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Khushab Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber, visited the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Noorpur to review the healthcare facilities being provided to patients.
Assistant Commissioner Noorpur Shazia Rehman, Medical Superintendent THQ Hospital Noorpur Surgeon Dr. Ameer Umar, doctors, nursing staff and other relevant officials were also present on the occasion.
The Commissioner was given a detailed briefing on the availability of medicines, medical facilities and other treatment services being provided to patients at the hospital. He inspected various departments, including the Emergency Department, Male and Female Wards, Gynecology Ward, Pharmacy, Reception Counter and Laboratory, and reviewed the facilities available to patients.
Hafiz Shaukat Ali also checked the attendance of doctors and nursing staff and directed the medical personnel to further improve patient care. He emphasized that the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif regarding the provision of free medicines must be implemented in letter and spirit.
He said that providing quality, timely and effective healthcare services to patients visiting government hospitals was a top priority of the Punjab Government. The Commissioner also reviewed cleanliness arrangements at THQ Hospital Noorpur and directed the administration to ensure further improvement in both patient care and hospital management.
Later, Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali, along with Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Laber, visited the Assistant Commissioner’s Office Noorpur Thal. Assistant Commissioner Shazia Rehman briefed the Commissioner in detail about the administrative affairs of Noorpur Thal Tehsil, ongoing development projects and other government activities.
The Commissioner directed the concerned officers to further improve the delivery of public services and ensure effective implementation of government policies and initiatives.
