President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to the Security Forces for successfully neutralizing terrorists of Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khawarij during intelligence-based and counter-terrorism operations in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In their separate statements, the President and Prime Minister appreciated the professional capabilities of the Security Forces for effectively foiling attempts by the Khwarij to infiltrate Pakistan along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
They also expressed satisfaction over the timely and effective response of the Security Forces against the terrorists.
President Asif Ali Zardari once again urged the Afghan Interim Government to prevent the use of its territory for terrorism.
He said Pakistan’s Security Forces remain resolute in defending the country’s frontiers and eliminating the menace of terrorism.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the Security Forces in the ongoing war against terrorism.
He reiterated that operations under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam” would continue with full resolve until the complete elimination of foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan.
