Managing Director Hayat Al-Mir Coal Mines Malik Saad Bashir Awan and Labour Welfare Officer Khushab Rana Jahanzeb distributed financial assistance cheques among the employees.
Speaking on the occasion, they said that the welfare of mine workers and employees, along with financial assistance for their families, is among the key priorities of the Mines Labour Welfare Department. The distribution of cheques is a practical step in this regard, aimed at providing financial support to deserving workers.
They further said that mine workers play an important role in the national economy, and therefore, their welfare, protection and financial security are of particular importance.
It may be mentioned that Malik Saad Bashir Awan is a prominent social figure of District Khushab and the son of Member of the National Assembly Malik Shakir Bashir Awan. He is also actively involved in various social and welfare activities.
