
President of EU Harmonization Committee and Member of Turkish Grand National Assembly, Burhan Kayaturk along with a delegation called on Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in Lahore on Monday.
During the meeting they discussed ways to boost bilateral ties besides economic, environmental and parliamentary issues.
The Punjab Chief Minister stressed upon the need of enhancing permanent ties between Pak-Turkiye parliamentary delegations and legislatures.
Maryam Nawaz said Pakistan welcomes and regards Turkish investment and expertise in construction, power, rural planning, logistics and mining.
She said that cooperation regarding climate related legislation, local government and youth empowerment will provide a new angle to our bilateral ties.
