Minister for Petroleum, Ali Pervaiz Malik has expressed satisfaction over Turkish Petroleum’s participation in offshore and onshore exploration in Pakistan.
He was talking to Ambassador of Turkiye to Pakistan, Irfan Neziroglu, who called on him in Islamabad today.
During the meeting, preparations for the visit of the Turkish Energy Minister and his delegation to Pakistan were reviewed.
Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Alparslan Bayraktar along with a delegation will arrive in Pakistan tomorrow. An important company of Turkish mineral sector will also be part of the delegation.
Ali Pervaiz Malik said the visit of the Turkish Energy Minister to Pakistan will play a significant role in enhancing cooperation between the two countries in energy and minerals sectors.
He said the partnership of OGDCL, PPL and Murree Energies with Turkish Petroleum will further strengthen their cooperation at global level.
