
The annual Naat gathering in honor of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was held with deep devotion, reverence, and spiritual enthusiasm at Dera Peelo Vains, hosted by former Country Director of the United Nations Organization (UNO), Dr. Malik Abdul Waheed Jasra. The event was attended by a large number of religious scholars, spiritual leaders, renowned Naat reciters, social and religious figures, and members of the public, while the atmosphere resonated with heartfelt recitations of Durood and Salam.
The gathering commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the presentation of Naat in praise of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Distinguished Naat reciters captivated the audience with their soulful verses, illuminating hearts and creating an environment filled with love for the Prophet (PBUH).
A special address was delivered by Syed Imtiaz Hussain Shah Gardezai, the Sajjada Nashin of Astana Alia Darbar Shahpur Sharif, Islamabad. He highlighted various aspects of the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and emphasized that the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH) constitute a complete code of life for all humanity. He stressed that adherence to these teachings promotes love, tolerance, harmony, and peace in society, and urged the younger generation to adopt the Seerah of the Prophet (PBUH) and embody high moral values in their daily lives.
Prominent social personalities from Islamabad, including Jahangir Abbas, Javed Abbasi, Malik Abdul Majid Jasra (former Head of Engineering, Pakistan Television Islamabad), Sheikh Rehmat Ali from Lahore, former Vice Chairman Malik Haji Safdar Hayat Awan, Malik Mola Bakhsh Awan, Malik Muhammad Waseem Akram Jasra (Inspector, FBR Sargodha), and Malik Sabir Hussain Jasra, attended the gathering as special guests.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Malik Abdul Waheed Jasra expressed his gratitude to the distinguished guests and participants, stating that the organization of Naat gatherings serves as a means of spiritual renewal and social reform. He added that such spiritual congregations strengthen mutual brotherhood, love, and unity, which are the foundations of a strong and peaceful society.
At the conclusion of the gathering, special prayers were offered for the security of the country, the prosperity of the Muslim Ummah, unity among Muslims, and for the oppressed Muslims of Palestine and Kashmir. Participants praised the well-organized and meaningful event, describing it as a source of spiritual tranquility and inner peace.
