Deputy Commissioner Dr. Jahanzeb Hussain Lober laid the foundation stone of a new hall at the mosque located within the Agriculture Office in Khushab.
Former Senator Ghaus Khan Niazi and Deputy Director Agriculture Abdul Majeed Khan were also present on the occasion.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Deputy Commissioner said that a mosque is the house of Allah, and laying the foundation stone for its hall is a great honor for him. He added that this city belongs to all of us, and maintaining peace and order is a collective responsibility.
On the occasion of the inauguration, special prayers were offered for the construction of the mosque hall as well as for the safety and prosperity of the country and the nation.
