Important Organizational Meeting of Noorpur Thal Press Club

A positive example of promoting journalism and strengthening organizational structure emerged in Noorpur Thal when an important meeting of the Noorpur Thal Press Club was held under the chairmanship of President Seth Samar Sultan. The meeting not only reflected unity among the journalistic community but also highlighted the fundamental principles and responsibilities of journalism.

The session began with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran by Malik Shaukat Hayat Khara, which created a spiritual atmosphere. Later, President Seth Samar Sultan welcomed the newly joined journalists—Malik Zaigham Abbas Baghoor, Malik Mazhar Bahoo Awan, Abrar-ul-Haq, and Mian Muhammad Naseem—and expressed his commitment that journalism is a sacred profession, where truth, integrity, and accurate representation of public issues are essential requirements.

In his address, he emphasized that highlighting local issues effectively is the foremost responsibility of journalists. He stated that the real purpose of journalism is to become the voice of the people and to play a meaningful role against social injustices. In this regard, the platform of the Noorpur Thal Press Club can play a vital role in bringing local issues to the attention of higher authorities.

An important aspect of the meeting was the reorganization of the body, which resulted in the emergence of a strong and active leadership. By unanimous consent, Seth Samar Sultan was re-elected as President. M. Nordeen was elected as Senior Vice President, Malik Ghulam Jilani Wadhal as Vice President, Malik Zaigham Abbas Baghoor as General Secretary, Malik Mazhar Bahoo Awan as Joint Secretary, Tasawar Abbas Bhatti as Finance Secretary, Abrar-ul-Haq as Information Secretary, and Mian Muhammad Naseem as Office Secretary. This selection reflects the mutual trust and consensus within the journalistic community.

It is encouraging to note that the combination of experienced and new journalists will not only strengthen the institution but also help improve journalistic standards. If this spirit continues, the Noorpur Thal Press Club can achieve a prominent position in regional journalism.

At the conclusion of the meeting, special prayers were offered for the country’s stability, security, and prosperity, reflecting that journalists are not only committed through their writing but also sincerely devoted to the progress of their nation.

Undoubtedly, such gatherings not only promote journalistic values but also serve as a catalyst for positive change in society. The initiative of the Noorpur Thal Press Club stands as a commendable example for other journalistic organizations to follow.
